Steve Hannes

Steve Hannes spent six years budget backpacking through thirty-one countries, financing his travels by waiting tables at a beach resort on the Maryland Shore, a seasonal job he returned to every summer. Prudently saving his hard earned gratuity, he would embark upon a new and different journey each year at season’s end, and remain on the road until the following summer.

It is the author’s hope for his book to not only entertain, but also serve as an inspiration to those who dream of travel, and warm the hearts of those who have experienced the vagabond life.
