Heather Epps

Heather Epps is a graduate of Creighton University, where she received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She comes from a family of librarians and journalists, so despite her science-based education, writing and reading has always been in her blood. Heather and her family reside in the Kansas City area. Her background in pharmacy, and a desire to explain to her child who has food allergies how his medication works in kid-friendly terms, inspired her to develop the "Pharm Friends" children’s book series. When Heather is not writing or illustrating, she works as a pharmacist and teaches continuing education classes on pharmacy-related topics.
