Bob Cammarata

Bob is a Maryland based writer/ photographer who specializes in nature in all its forms. For as long as he can remember, a love for the outdoors has inspired him to capture Nature's beauty and intrigue. His travels have taken him to every corner of the U.S. and parts of Canada but most of his photography occurs less than a tank of gas away.

He is an active blogger and contributor to Flickr, Bugguide, Moth Photographer's Group, Maryland Biodiversity Project, and other popular wildlife and photography websites.

His photos and articles have been published in magazines, business and travel brochures, and many of his landscape photos have been sold as fine art prints. His photo "Living on the Edge" achieved global acclaim at the 2014 Photokina Expo in Cologne, Germany.

He also collaborated with Ivy Press International and University of Chicago Press in the production of THE BOOK OF CATERPILLARS; an extensive anthology which was released to world-wide distribution in 2017.

His most recent book, CONFESSIONS OF A FREE STATE ANGLER is an autobiographical account of his life as a fisherman…as told through a series of short stories spanning four decades.
