Storytelling has always been close to my heart. My love for reading and writing was inspired early on by my mother, who always had a book in her hand. That love stayed with me and continues to grow.

I’m incredibly blessed with four amazing children and six wonderful grandchildren—my biggest fans! One of my greatest joys is reading my books to them and seeing their faces light up with excitement and curiosity.

I spent twelve years as a secretary in an elementary/middle school, where I built cherished connections with students, parents, and teachers.

In this fast-paced digital world, I believe that true connections with children are made through quality time—especially while sharing a story together. There's nothing quite like a grandchild’s hug… except maybe the look on a child’s face when they’re completely swept away by a story. That’s the real magic of reading.
