Ava Knows is an author, advice columnist and storyteller. Armed with her quick wit and arsenal of wisdom, Ava's primary goal in life is to encourage and inspire women of all ages, races, and ethnicities. Through her stories, Ava takes her readers on a fun and personable journey, featuring good, old-fashioned advice from Ava throughout. Prior to becoming a published author, Ava completed Business degrees at both the Master’s and Doctoral levels. Having established a solid career in corporate finance, Ava later embarked on a second career as a Business Professor where she often included stories in her lectures to make the course lessons more fun, interesting, and relatable for her students. As a Professor “Dr. A” as she is often referred, is perhaps best known for inspiring her students to chase their dreams. After five years of teaching and encouraging countless of others in the areas of career, business, family, education, entrepreneurship, and the like... Dr. A took a leap of faith and pursued her own dream of becoming a writer. In addition to her books, Ava’s advice is now available weekly in her newspaper column for the Sanford Herald of Sanford, Florida.
