James Sapp was born on Long Island, New York. When he was 17, he ventured out to explore the Southern United States and study psychology. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor who holds two doctoral degrees (PsyD and PhD). He has worked extensively with children and families in their homes and communities for three decades. He has visited over 30 countries and has experience in international counseling and presentations. Since 2006, he has been teaching in higher education to share his mission of engaging youth with our future counselors, psychologists, teachers and parents. He enjoys listening to peoples stories and serving those who desire to connect with youth of today to instill hope for a better future for humankind. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Counseling and Psychology. He believes in having a sense of humor when engaging youth or connecting with others.
