Robby Kautz is a Christian author and inspirational speaker. Her mission statement reflects her passion for writing: “By giving words to my own experience, I write so others will know they are not alone.”
The seeds for this mission statement were planted as she searched for healing from childhood trauma. Those seeds germinated and then grew when she read books and articles about trauma from authors whose wisdom and experience gave her words to express what she had never been able to articulate. Just as those authors informed her that she was not alone, her mission is to inform other trauma victims that they are not alone.
Robby grew up in a home where incidences of domestic violence created fears that altered her life. Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE’s) set in motion questions about her place in the world and her value to God. When she finally asked God these questions, his answer came through images and words that healed her heart. Robby wrote her allegorical tale, The Riven Tree, to share this message of healing with others.
The author has had stories published in Guideposts and Mysterious Ways magazines, and in the book Life Changing Miracles. She speaks for Stonecroft Ministries and has led one-day silent retreats for women.
Robby holds a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Bethany College in Scotts Valley, California. She lives with her husband of forty-five years near the Boise, Idaho area where they enjoy spending time with their two grown children and their grandchildren.
