Peter Talili

Peter Talili, born and grew up in a remote farming village in Mabini, Bohol, Philippines. Ever since he was a child riding on the back of his favorite water buffalo (carabao), he envisioned his future. He may not have known it then but every time he was on the animal's back working in the farm, he sang the only song he knew, "Around the World I've Searched for You" by Frank Sinatra. It gave him the resolve not to spend all his life in the farm much to the dismay of his father.

He left the village with a heavy heart after graduating high school and entered reluctantly the nursing school program at the behest of his eldest sister. Despite his reluctance, he put his mind on it and became a nurse. The calling became the ticket to leave the village farm and worked in few places ultimately settling in New Jersey and Arizona. There was nothing remarkable of his nursing job but worked tirelessly in the surgical specialty. At one time, he dabbled on the RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assist) but his body told him to quit because he became the RNFA (Registered Nurse Falling Apart). At sixty years old, he quit the job for good and became a RN (Retired [ret'ard] Nurse). He devoted his time on travel abroad, road trips and that made him tired too. Lately, he tried his brain on writing inspired by the authors of the books he loved to read, fiction/ non fiction thrillers, history, geography and memoirs. If he gets tired of writing, Lord knows what comes next. After a few debacles trying to establish a family, he decided to live a solitary life with his two cats in a modest house in Phoenix, Arizona.
