Write what you know, isn't that what they always say?

For me, that's small towns, misty mountain ranges, and love that stands the test of time. I'm a writer of big, sexy, emotional romances that don't skimp on the steam. Born and bred in West Virginia, I've spent most of my adult life in Tennessee and Kentucky. I find the enchantment of home inspires me to tell tales with a little Southern swagger. If you like contemporary romance, I've got you covered with my Sirensong Falls series. But if you like a dash of mysterious mountain magic, you can't go wrong with my Christmas series. These days, I'm living in the flat, flat lands of Indiana. For the record, I'm still not used to it. I've discovered that you can take the girl out of Appalachia, but you can't take the Appalachia out of the girl. When I'm not haunting the house at all hours writing romances, I'm marketing writer, happily married to my college sweetheart, and mother to two adult sons with distinctly artsy tendencies. In 2020, my romance Wrecking Christmas won the 2020 Holt Medallion for "Best First Book" and was a finalist in the Paranormal Romance category. The HOLT is awarded by the Romance Writers of America and is a global contest recognizing excellence in published romance fiction.

In the fall of 2021, Wrecking Christmas went on to hit #1 on the paranormal romance category, #7 in Genre Fiction, and #7 in Contemporary Romance for one brief, but shining promotional period. I live to repeat this experience, LOL.
