Arcana-siddhi Devi Dasi

In 1976, while still in graduate school studying for her master degree in clinical social work, Arcana siddhi devi dasi met the Gaudiya Vaishnavas and the following year accepted formal initiation from His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Srila Prabhupada.

Arcana lived and served in the Potomac, Maryland ISKCON temple for twelve years where her primary service was book distribution. After moving out of the temple, she completed her master’s degree and worked in a mental health clinic for 14 years, counseling both children and adults, specializing in family and couple’s therapy. She also served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Maryland Medical School, teaching residents family therapy.

She has written and delivered numerous personal growth seminars to enhance a devotee’s spiritual progress. She has also written over 30 articles published in Back to Godhead magazine and is a contributing author to the book: Heart and Soul Connection: A Devotional Guide to Marriage, Service and Love.

She is currently living in western North Carolina with her husband, working in private practice counseling individuals, couples and families. She and her husband actively participate as members of the Grihastha Vision Team.

Arcana siddhi has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Master degree in clinical social work.
