Ava Matthews

Ava Matthews was born in Ohio but has lived in Georgia most of her life. She is a retired educator and librarian. She is currently working as a children's minister and working on the start up of her own K-5 school. Ava enjoys travel and working with children.

The inspiration for Abba, Father Daddy came from working with hurting children in an urban school setting. She states that" These children were not getting the help that they needed to guide them through their hurts." Studies show that hurting children will be hurting adults.

Ava feels that the help that children need in order to be self-sustaining adults needs to be told in more than just one book, so she is currently working on the second of a three-part series.
