L C WALKER

About the author:

As a young boy, L. C. read books by Louis L’Amour and Zane Grey. At that time in his life he had no idea he would become a writer, also. He remembered what was said about writing and that was to “Keep It Simple Stupid.” Before he started his writing career he asked a large number of people what they wanted in a book?

First, people wanted a book that was simple to read. They did not want a dictionary on their lap to look up words that the writer put in the story to show the reader how knowledgeable he or she was.

Second, people did not want a short book of a hundred pages or less or a long book that had a thousand pages or more. A book between 250 pages up to 400 pages would be perfect.

Third, people said they would spend between twelve and twenty dollars for a book. Anything over twenty dollars would take a lot of consideration.

Fourth, people said they did not want a thousand characters in a book where they had to map out the connection from one character to another in order to keep things straight. L. C. decided to give people exactly what they wanted when he started to write.

L.C. Walker thought about writing in 1970, but other things kept him from doing so. In 1979, he had the desire to write again, but Bible College kept him from that dream. In 1997, he wanted to share what the Bible had to say about the end times, so he began his first novel. He completed The Past or the Coming Future in 1997. He has now completed 16 books.
