Ben Bisbee

Ben Bisbee is a dreamer, a doer, a madman with focus, he considers himself the good kind of dangerous. An author who loves writing about queer, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ characters just living their normal lives or having extraordinary adventures and unpacking wild mysteries among the mundane, he's a sucker for misdirection, suburban fantasy, and getting in a reader’s head.

First published in late 2019, (unrepresented) by ATD Publishing for a successful nonfiction business book called "The Unashamed Guide to Virtual Management", Ben has since begun to pursue full-time authorship, leaving his 25 year career in the nonprofit sector behind to focus on creative and fictional writing. In 2021, he was published for the first time for fiction in an anthology titled “Six Feet Apart” by The Writers Group in Akron, Ohio with a short story about a tween who dies suddenly and discovers she’s part of a long line of Grim Reapers in the very bureaucratic Thereafter, titled “Death Inc. and the Unanticipated Adventures of Winifred Fox”.

Ben is actively querying several completed pieces of literary fiction, while continuing to work on several novels, short stories, children's books, poetry, and securing a literary agent in 2022. He likes cold pizza, short walks on the beach, weekly massages and living in Ohio with his husband of eighteen years and their eleven internet-famous cats.
