Chase Dieleman

Chase Dieleman is a poet and writer whose work explores the intersections of identity, desire, memory, and survival. His debut poetry collection, The Orchid in the Snow, invites readers into a deeply introspective landscape shaped by vulnerability, transformation, and the quiet resilience of the human spirit.

Drawing on personal experience and a lyrical, image-driven style, Dieleman’s writing examines what it means to inhabit a body marked by love, loss, and becoming. His work is particularly interested in queer experience, emotional truth, and the ways language can both conceal and reveal the self.

He is currently based in Iowa, where he continues to write and develop new projects in poetry and fiction on his family's farm.
