Marcelo Saad. MD, PhD (S. Paulo, Brazil) - Physician, board certified in Physiatry and Acupuncture. Doctorate in Sciences of Rehabilitation by the Federal University of S. Paulo. Current director member of the Spiritist-Medical Association of S. Paulo. Collaborator with the Brazilian and of the International Spiritist-Medical Associations for organization of events and for deliver conferences, in Brazil and abroad. Co-founder member of the Interfaith Coalition on Health and Spirituality (a movement with health professionals and religious leaders for spiritual support in hospitals). Professor invited to the upcoming post-graduate course in Interfaith Hospital Chaplaincy, Santa Marcelina Medical School. Besides his work as physician in private practice, he is also engaged on scientific publication, editorial collaborations with journals and books, medical lectures, and participation in scholar tasks. His main interest fields are religiosity in healthcare and spiritual complementary therapies.
