Jayson Wells

Jayson Wells was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and has been on an incredible journey of life. Jayson played basketball and graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in Sports Management. He then went on to play professional basketball, internationally, for 13 seasons. After his playing career, he shifted his focus from playing, to teaching the game. With the vision of being more impactful, Jayson founded the Shooting Starz Academy, a youth development organization that provides character and personal development in addition to athletics. He also collaborated with global brands like Nike and Spalding as he worked with top names like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Chris Paul at their Elite Basketball camps. Jayson’s focus is not only coaching the next generation of high performing athletes but guiding the next generation of game changing leaders.

Currently, Jayson is fulfilling his purpose by taking on the role as an Enhancement Coach. He works with universities, businesses, and organizations of various types, with the goal to Develop. Extraordinary. Winners “BEYOND THE GAME.” His experiences challenge people to think, feel and focus on legacy, while they ignite and live their PURPOSE.
