William J. Patterson

William J. Patterson is a lifetime resident of Tennessee. He enjoys the great outdoors and exploring new adventures with his sons, family members and friends. Mr. Patterson's most recent article "Achieving Success During and After Prison" was published in the 2019 -2020 Inmate Shoppers Guide available at Freebird Publishers.

Mr. Patterson is currently writing his second book about incarcerated parents and how they bridge the separation they may be experiencing with their children. He shares his most intimate and personal life experiences as an incarcerated father in order to encourage and inspire other parents to stay connected with their children.

Besides exploring his newest book idea, he's invested with several advocacy groups that assist inmates and families in their efforts toward a successful return to society for the benefit of all.
