Javier Nodras

Javier Nodras was the winner of the "Villa de Rentería" short story award for under 24 (1994) with the story "Ellas, mis uñas", translated into English and illustrated by the French artist Lucie Geffré.

Among his children's stories:

-Two interactive "Choose your own adventure" type stories, illustrated by artist Miriam Roig, "The Intergalactic Express", with more than twenty different endings (translated into Italian and English), and its sequel "The Strangest Planet in the World". "The intergalactic express" is not a normal book, which is read from the first to the last page. You will find at the end of each page several alternatives, so you can choose the one you prefer. Depending on your decisions, the story will progress in one way or another. The success or failure of your mission depends on you.

-"The light monn", a story about the importance of pursuing dreams that are unattainable, illustrated by Mexican artist Malinaky, and translated into English and Italian.

-"The chess zoo", a collection of poems inspired by chess, illustrated by the Guatemalan artist Jazmín Negro.

Among his translations from Italian into Spanish:

-"Almas en el espejo" and "La puerta de la alegría", two collections of short stories by Amalia Guglielminetti (1881-1941).

-"La insomne" and "Seducciones", two collections of poems by Amalia Guglielminetti (1881-1941).

-"The dance of the gnomes and other fairy tales", by Guido Gozzano (1883-1916).

-"The Queen of Darkness", a book of short stories by Grazia Deledda (1871-1936).
