Hong Sun-ha

Sun-ha Hong analyses the fantasies, values and sentimentalities surrounding datafication and AI. By mapping out the historical and philosophical roots of how we think about objectivity and progress, his work seeks to clarify the moral stakes of technological fantasies.

Sun-ha has a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, and is currently Assistant Professor of Communication at Simon Fraser University.
