Diane Guntrip

Diane Guntrip - Australian author of inspiring books for young teens and those who are young at heart.

Diane is an advocate for bullying prevention and a promoter of positive mental health. Diane has qualifications in teaching, speech training and counselling.

'Dear H' and 'The Daisy Chain' are fictional diaries written by 12 year old Amanda. Amongst other things, they focus on bullying, self-esteem, depression and self-empowerment. The books are motivational and inspiring as well as being ideal for use to open up discussion on many subjects which can sometimes be difficult. First and foremost, they are books to be read and enjoyed.

'Tilly's Story' is a spin-off from, 'The Daisy Chain', but can be read and enjoyed as a standalone book. It is now available and tells the story of seventeen-year-old Tilly who was forced to leave St C's Academy of Music owing to an unwanted pregnancy. It is a powerful and deeply moving novel which shows how although things do not always go to plan, where there is a will there is a way. Full details are on the back cover.

Diane's interests are wide ranging and encompass antique jewellery and jewellery design, travel, reading, dogs, keeping fit, reading and, of course, writing.

Diane is based in Perth, Western Australia. However, she travels to the UK as often as possible. She is available for workshops and speaking engagements both in Australia and in the UK.
