Ralph Meyers

DR. MED. RALPH MEYERS is one of the best-known and most renowned child and adolescent psychiatrists in the German-speaking world. With several international publications and bestsellers, he is one of the most widely read authors in the field of psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.

As a neuroscientist and senior investigator, he has been developing sustainable development concepts for the systematic increase in the ability to concentrate in children, adolescents and adults with behavioral problems in independent and clinical work for over 30 years.

In his doctorate, one of his research focuses was the question of which pathophysiological mechanisms lie behind addictions and how curable they are under outpatient conditions.

The treatment approaches and practical strategies presented by him in his books, coaching sessions and lectures are particularly valued by his patients for their effectiveness and are widely regarded as understandable, result-oriented and scientifically sound.

For his life's work, Dr. Ralph Meyers was honored by the European Innovation House as a "talent and pioneer of society" and is also a member of various professional associations, including the ADHS-Netz Deutschland, World Federation of ADHD, APSARD, Tourette-Gesellschaft Deutschland e.V. and the German Society for Compulsive Disorders e.V. He is a member of the Ethics Committee of the ÄKWL and the University of Münster. In April 2023, the Social Psychiatric Center Dr. Meyers was voted the "best child psychiatric practice in Germany" by AI Global Media.

Dr. Ralph Meyers looks after his patients in the social psychiatric center at the main location in Dorsten (NRW) and in his private practice in Hamburg.

Because after more than 30 years of psychiatric work with children, adolescents and adults, I know exactly: If it is really a mental illness and the highest diagnostic and therapy standards are applied, many of these illnesses can be cured - be it AD(H)S, Autism, Tourette's syndrome or reflex disorders.

Lifelong drug or therapeutic treatment is then no longer necessary.

That is my great mission: I want to give my patients the chance to lead a free and self-determined life, activate their cognitive development and steer it in new directions.
