Mr Patrick Benham-Crosswell

I served as a regular British Army Officer for 12 years, mostly in armoured reconnaissance and tanks. I also spent two years training future officers at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Having left the Army in the Options for Change defence cuts I returned to the military world as a subject matter expert supporting operational analysis on a range of programmes, some of which are now coming into service.

That led to me setting up a military simulation company, using sophisticated software to train soldiers. This ultimately led to my first book, The Dangerous World of Tommy Atkins.

I continued to write and comment on military, political and energy matters for several publications while developing my commercial career as an entrepreneur, financier, company director and adviser. My involvement in several green energy projects led to my second book, Net Zero.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine l found me becoming a commentator on GB News, Talk Radio, Times Radio and other channels, which in turn led to the second edition of The Dangerous World of Tommy Atkins which included substantial update and professional editing and proof reading.

I have several projects underway. I hope to produce a book on how capitalism should work and a novel (which might be a thriller). Follow my website and blog for updates.
