Walter Potthoff

I was raised on farm in Iowa. Then I went in the Army during the Korean War. When I got home I tried my hand at farming but the price of crops went south. I changed directions too, got hired by a utility company. It beat farming and I stayed with it for thirty-one years. Then I retired to Arizona and began enjoying the good life, golden years and telling stories and writing poems. I never was a great English student but love what I'm doing. I hope I haven't offended my old English teacher, Miss Ronk. If I have, sorry for the pain. I bless your heart because at ninety-one, I'm doing what I believe is fun and what you intended.
