Dr. Richard G. Morrison Ph.D.
I was born and raised in Iowa, and learned the value of hard work early on (farming). I joined the Navy at 17, and spent time in Japan and on a U.S. Naval destroyer. I then received my B.S from Stephen F. Austin University, and my Masters and Ph.D degrees from LSU. My primary career consisted of 30 years at a major U.S. pharmaceutical company, where my family and I resided largely in Europe and Latin America, but I had varying levels of management responsibility for operations in over 70 countries. Rather than retire, I spent the next 18 years in academia, teaching upper level business courses at a major university. My areas of expertise included management, marketing, and international business based on current macroeconomics. I have also served on both public and private corporate boards for six corporations, and served as a consultant for pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
