Ph.D. M. Jane Lalli

M. J. Lalli is a published author of several scientific journals. She is a lifelong Bible reader, who is inspired by women of valor. This is her second novel. (The first is self-published on Amazon). When not writing, she enjoys her foster children, furry children, cooking, traveling, playing bridge, and reading.

Dvorah anecdote: When MJ first started thinking about Dvorah, she was unsure if this was really calling for her or just a passing whim. She went to a writer's group to test the waters. She arrived late (nothing new), and had to wedge in at the round table. She was assigned the woman on her left as a partner for a pairs activity. They were to introduce themselves and their current project in a memorable "elevator speech" manner. When MJ started telling her partner about the idea for her book the woman put up her hand and said, "Stop. Wait." She reached down, retrieved her purse, and began rifling through it. She finally found her wallet and pulled out her Driver's License. The woman's first name was Devorah. That was the sign that lit (or greenlighted) the novel, and Dvorah was finished in three months. Talk about synchronicity or Divine Appointments!
