Amy Sturm

Amy is a mom, a school counselor, and a wanna-be farm girl. She lives on 32 acres in Tennesee with her husband, 2 sons, 2 pound puppies and a bunch of chickens.

Cock-a-doodle Sue was a nickname given to her by her youngest son when he was eight. The story of Cock-a-doodle Sue was inspired by Amy's time working with students on the autism spectrum and the sharing of their gifts.

Amy hopes that her book will remind children to embrace and honor their uniqueness.
