After finishing university, Andy Marr took a job in a bank, but he hated it, so he stopped and became a writer instead. His debut novel, 'Hunger for Life', was published in September 2019 to public and critical acclaim. Up next is 'A Matter of Life and Death', a sequel of sorts to his first book, coming 2021. Andy lives in Edinburgh, Scotland, with his wife and two daughters.
Praise for 'Hunger for Life' -
'A remarkable novel, with vibrant and deeply developed characters, taut and nuanced relationships, and simply lovely prose. Tightly paced and psychologically complex, Marr's exquisite debut is a life-affirming and powerful read.'
Marya Hornbacher, bestselling author of 'Wasted: A Memoir of Anorexia and Bulimia'
'Beautifully written.'
Ayisha Malik, bestselling author of 'Sofia Khan is not Obliged'
