Roger Taylor

Roger Taylor was born into a family of professional cooks and bakers, and has spent his entire life in restaurants, specifically kitchens. He has worked in Los Angeles, the Bay Area, Colorado, Greece, and even an island off the coast of New England. He has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants, fry shacks, and spent five years working a wood-fired oven making Neapolitan style pizza before opening his first restaurant Coco & The Cellar Bar with his wife and co-author, Unmi Abkin. Their first book, Curry & Kimchi, represents the ideas and inspiration of Unmi's upbringing and creativity filtered through Roger's ability to clearly and succinctly translate those ideas for the home cook of any experience level.
