Susan Pritt taught kindergarten before becoming her children's homeschool teacher for eighteen years. She and her husband began their homeschooling adventure in 1990, the year after their oldest child graduated from Christian school. At that time they had an eleventh grader, a ninth grader, a seventh grader, a fifth grader, a third grader, a first grader, a four-year-old, a two-year-old, and a newborn. In order to streamline the mandatory record keeping for their state, her husband and she designed tools first for themselves and then for the homeschooling community. Their Homeschool Daily Log has been used by hundreds of families, and now is available to a second generation of homeschoolers. She has also written curriculum for homeschoolers, including the spelling program Three Words a Day, and a history and geography unit study based on the life of missionary Hudson Taylor, as well as drama based on his life. She now teaches writing classes and a ladies' Sunday School class and enjoys helping her local grandchildren with their academic skills.
