A bit about LISA BRANDI and...

For The Love Of Lolly: The BACKstory of Redbone's Famous FRONTman!

By Stephen Rosario Pisani & Lisa Brandi

When Stephen asked me to write a memoir based on his fond memories with Lolly Vegas, I was very moved at the chance to collaborate on the telling of this touching tale of true friendship.

I have always loved the band Redbone, and their hit single "Come And Get Your Love" is still featured in countless commercials and films, including Avengers Endgame, and this great tune is played during the opening credits of the movie Guardians of the Galaxy.

Working on this project with my brother proved to be challenging because he lives on the West Coast and I live on the East Coast.

We had to talk 10 times a day!

(When we are not working on something, we only talk 5 times a day)

Since Lolly was not only Stephen’s best friend but also his neighbor, I was privileged to get to know this lovely man and see first hand the extraordinary bond my brother and Lolly shared.

Lolly commissioned me to create the logo for his talk show that he was producing.

Lolly could have hired the team from "Mad Men," but he wanted to work with me, and I will always be eternally grateful to this generous man.

You can see his logo on the Testimonial Page of my website www.genuinejerseygirl.com

It was my honor to work on this book.

I hope that my words, coupled with my brother's memories and photos have helped capture the heart and humor this once in a lifetime friendship so richly deserves.
