CLIFF Evans

Cliff Evans was born March 2, 1949 in Warren, Ohio. Prior to leaving the Marine Corps in 1970, he was meritoriously promoted twice and received a meritorious mast (non-combat) In 1973 he joined the Warren City Police Department where he served for 26 years. Achieving the rank of Captain, and 56 letters of commendation, he retired in 1997 and began employment as a Special Agent with the Ohio Attorney General's Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCI). Evans served as a BCI field Special Agent, Supervisor, Deputy Director and Special Agent in Charge of Northern Ohio. He left the bureau in 2013. Evans holds three undergraduate degrees and a Masters degree. He graduated from the Ohio Police Executive Leadership college, the Ohio State Highway Patrol basic school, and has completed over 150 professional training seminars, work shops, round tables, and professional exercises. He taught at Kent State University for four years, is certified in numerous LE/investigative areas, and has been engaged in several successful private business ventures. His professional career produced a variety of citations, commendations, awards and personal acclaim. He is a recipient of a Rotary International group study exchange and completed a 25 city lecture tour of New Zealand. Developing an ability to research, write and implement professional, social and civic programs, his list of accomplishments is lengthy. As a noted public speaker, he is credited with over 600 public speaking engagements. He is the author of several books, professional articles and hundreds of professional papers.
