André van Hall

André van Hall was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1953. He left his native country after completing his compulsory military service to start his career in Hospitality Management as a Dish Washer at the historic Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg. After apprenticing all though the kitchen and other hotel departments, he moved to Paris to work at the world famous Hotel Ritz.

From there, André moved to the USA where he attended the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. Upon graduation, he worked in NYC, Miami, Washington DC, Burlington, VT., Atlanta, Louisville, KY and Denver.

After going suddenly blind in 2011 André started his new career as The Curiosity Instigator, speaking on "The Curiosity of Change". He wrote his first book on the subject and now travels the world delivering his message of bringing light to the dark side of change.
