Steve Stoessler grew up in Europe during the 1950s. His parents were journalists and often visited by colleagues from around the world. Steve grew up wanting to see the world their friends spoke of for himself. After school, he set off on his travels and adventures. Joining a group of Cossack Riders, Steve went with them through Europe. In the following years, he travelled to Japan, North America, the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, Central America, South America, North Africa, South Africa, and all over Europe. During this time, he tried his hand at a range of jobs, such as Wild Animal Trainer, Stuntman and Bodyguard, among others. In between were also jobs as Barman, Waiter and Truck Driver. He finally returned home to England. Nowadays, he uses his travel experiences as inspiration for his writing and lets his characters do the adventuring. In his books, he takes advantage of his upbringing in the world of politics and world affairs and the many people he has met. He links these experiences into his topical books about terrorism, espionage, politics and murder.
