Hwee Goh

2020 is a year to remember as COVID-19 seizes the world. Invisible Enemies: A Handbook on Pandemics that have Shaped Our World -- is Hwee Goh's labour of love, to armour every child with knowledge to face these uncertain times. This hardcover book traces the history of science, inquiry and how we conquered pandemics in the past, through an amazing layer of art and curated stories. Hwee also wrote The Plano Adventures, a groundbreaking new series set in a fantasy world, with a magic system based on the tenets of responsible digital device use. Hwee was journalism-trained at Northwestern University and spent 16 years at Channel News Asia (CNA). She works at The Media Consultants Singapore, providing editorial and media training. Her best job yet is "Reader for Life" and she runs @hweezbooks which is followed by like-minded parents wanting to build reading in their own children.
