Deirdre Cichosz

Deirdre Cichosz is a recently self published author and illustrator. As a child, she was constantly writing little books and drawing at every opportunity. This passion for creativity led her to study fine art in the well established Crawford College of Art and Design in Co. Cork, Ireland.

Following college, Deirdre worked as an artist doing local commissions.

Her love for art and collaborating with people in small communities led her to work in a family resource center where she taught art classed to children and adults, specifically to the elderly, living in isolation.

A little further down the road, she became a mother, now raising two boys, aged 4 and 5.

After the birth of her second son, Deirdre decided to raise her boys, at home, full time. Her love of art gets lots of exercise with her children and recently Deirdre started a blog where she will share art and craft ideas and also post funny, thought provoking videos of Muddysocks { main character from her book}..
