A few months before her son's first birthday, Melanie searched for a book to celebrate it and I couldn't find one that she thought did the milestone justice - so she decided to create her own!

What started as a first birthday present and keepsake for her son, turned into an adventure in becoming a self-published author and illustrator. That first book has now become a 5 book series, celebrating little one's big milestones from birth to their fourth birthday.

Melanie Morgan is a mom of two and Kindergarten teacher who turned her love of children's books, creating and painting into a second career as a children's book author and illustrator. Melanie lives in Guelph, Ontario with her husband and two children. Every book sold helps support her family, moves her closer to the dream of spending more time with her kids and shows them that anything is possible with hard work and a never give up attitude.
