Carla is a survivor of sexual abuse and trafficking. Carla has an A.S degree in Social work, Certifications in Drug and Alcohol Addiction and Women's Studies. She is an ordained Elder and a motivational speaker (Shattered Yet Restored Ministries). She strives to empower men and women to reach inside of themselves to recognize who they are while peeling off the layers of hurt and pain. She is a CEO of Stella's Hope, an upcoming organization that assists young women coming from the penal system, transition back into society. Carla is Mom to 2 beautiful daughters and GiGi to 5 awesome grandbabies. She is the Best Selling Author of Silenced Behind the Silence, a book that chronicles the beginnings of her journey from being sexually abused to becoming a thriver.
