The Repeater is a collection of prose and poetry illustrating the labyrinth of adolescence, love, and death in suburban New Jersey. The familial ties that bind and break us, meditations on being young and queer before the age of being young and queer was a thing. An offering on loss. A brief glimpse through the keyhole into a room so many are familiar with.

AK wrote a bunch of stories based on their life. Vignettes. Glimpses. And then glued it all together.

They spent the past 8 years sitting on these stories and poems, anxiously crafting them into some semblance of a narrative. It almost worked.

They've written since they could hold a crayon. This book is a platypus, just like AK.
