Ben Saunders

Dr. Ben Saunders was born and raised in Manchester, educated at Manchester Grammar School. He studied Natural Sciences and also Psychology whilst at Durham University, before obtaining his Ph.D "The Conduct of Relationships in Cyberspace" from Manchester University.

Ben was shortlisted for the 2020 Cheshire Prize for Literature, in 2021, for his pandemic themed play "Your Courage, Your Cheerfulness, Your Resolution Will Bring Us Victory". This was published by Chester University Press as part of 'Unlocked' (Unlocked: Writing from the Cheshire Prize for Literature 2020).

In 2022 Ben was awarded the Cheshire Prize for his sustainability based play "The Apple" which will be published later in the year by Chester University.

Ben lives in South Manchester with his family. Contrary to popular belief he has never been a chef at White Castle but he still hasn't denied inventing Bitcoin.
