Camille Goodison is associate professor of English at the New York City College of Technology, CUNY. She co-edited Out of Many: Multiplicity and Divisions in America Today, an anthology of contemporary short fiction and essays. Her work has appeared in The CEA Critic: Journal of the College English Association, Teachers and Writers Magazine, Callaloo, Guernica, and Calyx, among other publications. She’s received a number of awards and honors for her short fiction and essays, including the Callaloo Creative Writing Fellowship, and a notable mention by The Best American Essays. She lives and works in Brooklyn, New York where she enjoys time with friends and being outdoors.
