Benjamin Swiczinsky

born 1982 in Korneuburg/Austria. 2001-2006 worked as cutter for several austrian production companies and television networks. Such as Dor-Film, ATV, Pro7 Austria, PulsTV and others.

2006-2011 studies animation at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. 2010 founded the group "Neuer Österreichischer Trickfilm" together with Johannes Schiehsl ans Conrad Tambour. His film HELDENKNAZLER has won many awards at international film festivals. He directed animated TV-series for german, austrian and belgium television as well as the title sequence for the Tom hanks movie A HOLOGRAM FOR THE KING or the feature documentary TRACKING EDITH by Peter Stephan Jungk. In 2018 he createt his first graphic novel „Schwanzer-Architect, Visionary, Maestro“ about the famous austrian architect Karl Schwanzer.
