Mark a Myers

Mark Myers is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CADC). Mark's journey has included working in outpatients, inpatient, intensive outpatient, and aftercare components of substance abuse and mental health settings.Janet and Mark run a private practice, Myers Counseling Group, in Crystal Lake, IL, for over 25 years. At Myers Counseling Group, they work with families, individuals, teens, and children addressing mental health and substance use disorder issues. Mark has also taught substance abuse classes and social work classes for bachelor and master level students.

Janet is a coauthor on Hope for Families & Falling Trees book. Janet Myers is a Licensed clinical Social Worker. She received her master's degree from Loyola University. Janet has been working in the mental health and substance abuse fields for over 25 years. She has developed numerous groups for youth and adults.

They have three adult children.Mark and Janet also share a passion for animals, as is evident by them sharing their home with their four dogs and three rabbits
