Mr Charles King

At the tender middle age of 60, I finally got round to writing my first book. Something that I began 29 years ago. Back then God had called me to be a leader of the children's work within a local vibrant and growing church. The Abundant Life Christian Fellowship. In a small town in Leicestershire Uk called Market Harborough.

Back in 1990, only the first chapter of this book got completed. The Lord reminded me of this project in February 20019. So by the direction of the Holy Spirit, the writing of the book was completed in just over 3 months. completed and published in just over 4 months.

I have spent the last 40 years working with children both within the church and in my work as a swimming teacher. Within the church teaching both adults and children about the grace of God; and the freedom that we have through Jesus Christ.

At this time as a member of a House church group, God has blessed me with the abilities to be able to lead worship, with the guitar. and to be able to teach and preach the word of God. God has shown to me that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for all who call upon His name, no matter how old or young they may be. As on the day of Pentecost, Peter got up and preached; he included this statement about the Holy Spirit, "The gift is for you and your children."
