Julie Fairhurst is an author, publisher, writing coach, and founder of Women Like Me Media, a storytelling, publishing, education, and visibility platform that helps women share their voices, grow their businesses, and leave a meaningful legacy.

Julie’s journey began far from publishing. She grew up in poverty, left school after Grade 9, and later returned to earn her GED while raising three young sons. Those early experiences taught her that where a woman begins does not determine where she can go, and that the chapters we are most tempted to hide often carry the wisdom someone else needs.

After building a successful 34-year career in real estate, serving approximately 3,000 clients and becoming a leading salesperson, trainer, and team leader, Julie turned her attention to the power of women’s stories.

She has since helped hundreds of women become published authors, brought over 350 true-life stories into print, and produced more than 40 collaborative books. Through Women Like Me, Julie has created a place where women can write honestly about what they have survived, learned, built, and become.

Julie is also the creator of Signature Story Leadership™, a guided experience that helps women recognize the value of their lived experience, uncover the message within it, and use their story to write, lead, teach, speak, and serve others.

She believes a woman’s story is never only about what happened to her. It is also about the strength she discovered, the wisdom she earned, and the woman she became along the way.

Through her books, coaching, publishing programs, and the Women Like Me Stories & Business Podcast, Julie continues to help women move from silence to visibility, and from having a story to becoming a voice others remember.
