Anne Clay

Anne Clay is a recovering PollyAnna. She wants life to be perfect and for everyone to be cared for and happy. She wishes that people wouldn't get sick or die and that everyone would have all the money they need. She wants everyone to follow their dreams and have them all come true, always, at all times.

But that's not what life is - is it? Anne Clay knows this full well having dealt whith a chronic illness that took her down for 25 years. She understands how life throws some really big curve balls as she walks through the grieving process of a cherished and only sister who left the earth suddenly at the age of 53, no warning, no goodbye. She struggles with the way people are treated in work places, as they are used, abused, accused and spit out by people eager to climb the corporate ladder and throw others on the bus on their way to... nowhere.

Life is just plain hard sometimes. Anne, an intense soul still looking for perfection, has had to make peace with the idea that life is a training ground where we learn lessons on how to love, trust and accept. But Anne doesn't give up trying to help herself and when she does, she passes along those lessons to others that are stalled behind those big road blocks of life. She's not a life expert, she's just a woman who won't be pushed down and wants to lend you a hand. She's climbed her way up many a mountain, and she believes the view from the top is so much better.

Anne Clay is a straight shooter. She'll tell you like it is, not mincing words in her Jersey girl style. She doesn't believe in "dying with your song still in you" so in the final half of her life, she's letting out her tune in hopes that you too will sing along. There is healing just knowing someone else has gone through the same thing you are going through. There is power when people join hands to heal and change things. Together we can create a chorus of hope, pushing forward to a better place. And that's why she writes....
