Robert T Tauber PhD

Dr. Robert T. Tauber is a Professor Emeritus, Pennsylvania State University. Among his accomplishments are having completed sabbaticals at Durham University, England, and at Melbourne University, Australia. In both cases he was accompanied by his wife, Cecelia, and their two children, David and Rebecca.

The family's many experiences included driving from Durham, England, to Berlin, while the "wall" was still up, and traveling the breadth of Great Britain and New Zealand.

He is well-published, having written 20 books (not counting e-books). His 350-page text, "Classroom Management: Sound Theory and Effective Practice," went into a 4th edition. His 3rd edition was translated into Chinese. His texts, "Acting Lessons for Teachers” and "The Self-Fulfilling Prophecy" both continue to be cited in the literature. His recent book, “Praise Less, Encourage More,” is an eye-opening, attitude changing, read.

His books are well researched, informative, immediately useful, and a bit fun to read.
