Mario C. Salvador

Mario C. Salvador is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist with 40 years of experience in the practice of psychotherapy. He is co-director of the ALECES Institute for Integrative Trauma Psychotherapy and Brainspotting Spain, and co-creator of the

Aleceia Model of Trauma Therapy. He is an international trainer in integrative psychotherapy, a Transactional Analyst, and Supervisor (EATA-ITAA), as well as a Senior Brainspotting Trainer certified by BTI. He is also president of the Iberian Brainspotting Association and vice president of the Ibero-American Association of Psychotrauma (AIBAPT).

He has conducted international training in Brazil, Italy, Slovenia, Ecuador, Romania, Russia, and Austria. He is the author of *Beyond the Self, healing emotional trauma and Brainspotting* (Eleftheria, 2016 and 2022),

*Who Am I?* (Desclee de Brouwer, 2022),

*The Two Faces of Nina* (Comanegra, 2024),

“Our Inner Citadel” (Desclee de Brouwer, 2025), and

as well as co-author of “The Power of Brainspotting” (Assanger, 2018) and 15 published articles on psychological

trauma.
