Alyssa Kapaona

Alyssa Kapaona has been in the field of education for over 15 years. She has spent most of her time teaching and has classroom experience with preschool through college students. Alyssa has a bachelor’s of science degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis on early childhood and a Masters of Education in Educational Administration (EDEA) with a focus on higher education, both from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UH Mānoa).

Alyssa currently works as an academic advisor at the UH Mānoa and is pursuing a doctoral degree in EDEA. Her most important roles are wife and mother of two young girls. In her free time, she enjoys being at the beach with her family. Alyssa resides in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi.
