Born in Quito, Ecuador to a Surgeon father and a missionary mother, I've always straddled cultures and contexts. Growing up bilingual in two countries and three states somehow landed me in the profession of teaching. I have lived as an adult, or whatever I have been, in Georgia, The Dominican Republic, Illinois, back in Florida, and North Carolina.
My short resume is as follows:
BA Wheaton College Literature/Biblical Studies 1994
MA Wheaton College Intercultural Studies/TESOL 2001
Graduate Certificate Multicultural and Transnational Literature East Carolina University
Along the way, during all of these, I got married, had kids, taught high school, got a dog.
My latest, Off the Rails: Evangelicals. Power and Politics is now available on Amazon. I'm also excited that all three books in the Sacred Seasons Trilogy are available on Amazon.
