A Principal Fellow of Advance HE and Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, she is recognised for her leadership and impact in higher education.

Helen is a Senior Lecturer in Education and Assessment Strategy and Feedback Lead at the University of Law, Visiting Lecturer at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and collaborates internationally with organisations including SAGE Publishing, where she is an author, Editor-in-Chief, and subject matter expert.

Her books and resources are used by learners around the world, offering clear, practical guidance that turns complex ideas into manageable, achievable steps. She is particularly passionate about making education more inclusive, engaging, and supportive for every learner.
